‘Palamuru’ completed on war footing

 Chief Minister Revanth Reddy on Thursday said that the Palamuru-Rangareddy Lift Irrigation Scheme, which will provide irrigation and drinking water to the combined Palamuru, Nalgonda and Rangareddy districts, will be completed on a war footing. He was speaking at a meeting with the ministers and MLAs of Palamuru district at the Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Centre in Hyderabad on Tuesday. Many issues were discussed. On this occasion, important suggestions were made regarding irrigation projects in the combined Palamuru district. He directed that the land acquisition process of PRLI should be completed on a war footing. He said that the land acquisition for the projects in the district should be completed as soon as possible and the payment of funds for the same should be done immediately without any delay.He made it clear that the government is ready to pay the pending bills related to the projects. He also reviewed the progress of the projects with the District Ministers and concerned officials. They were advised to monitor the situation from time to time. On this occasion, the MLAs of the respective constituencies submitted memorandums and work proposals related to other issues. The CM responded positively to them. He also directed the ministers to meet him frequently to discuss the issues and progress of the works. Ministers Jupally Krishna Rao, Vakiti Srihari, Government Whip Yennam Srinivas Reddy, MLAs Tudi Megha Reddy, Kasireddy Narayana Reddy, Madhusudan Reddy, Rajesh Reddy, Dr Vamsi Krishna, Veerlapalli Shankar, Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy, Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao and others participated in the review meeting.
