Job Description – Accountant

Position: Accountant

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Accountant for our chemical manufacturing company. The candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting processes, GST, TDS, and Tally ERP. The ideal candidate must be responsible, detail-oriented, and capable of handling day-to-day accounting operations independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounting entries and bookkeeping in Tally ERP
• Maintain purchase, sales, bank, and journal entries
• Prepare and maintain GST records and filings
• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing
• Reconcile bank statements and ledger accounts
• Prepare MIS reports and monthly financial reports
• Coordinate with auditors, vendors, and internal departments
• Maintain proper documentation of invoices and financial records
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory requirements
• Assist management in financial planning and reporting

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Tally ERP
• Good understanding of GST and TDS
• Knowledge of MS Excel and accounting reports
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com or relevant accounting qualification
• Experience in manufacturing industry preferred
• Chemical manufacturing industry experience will be an added advantage

Pay: ₹25,000.00 – ₹35,000.00 per month
